I have always enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking and crafts and a few years ago I did a quilting course and learned about rough edge appliqué.  I really enjoyed using the technique, it was quick and fun to do and since then have made a few wall hangings and quilts for my grandchildren.  I am currently working on my own design for wine bags and making covers for journals and iPads.  I also make handbags and aprons.  My favourite part of the creation process is choosing the different patterns and colours that bring together the final design.  I have 3 children and 9 grandchildren and in my spare time, alongside my husband look after 500 plants in our Passionfruit orchard.
